Failing to compare imaging studies to prior studies may lead to unneeded procedures or additional imaging for patients, may expose to legal risk, and may delay appropriate patient care. The goal of this project is to increase the proportion of radiology imaging reports that indicate a comparison to a prior exam was made when a prior exam was available for comparison.
"Qualified by the American Board of Radiology in meeting the criteria for practice quality improvement (PQI) toward the purpose of fulfilling requirements in the ABR Maintenance of Certification Program." Qualification granted until 12/31/2026.
